Join Jessie for a deep, slow and meditative exploration of how we are held in space. This practice is a combination of Tantric philosophy and playful flow, taking Yogis deep into the felt experience of the energetic body.
This session will encourage moving from within, grounded from internal alignment. Moving away from external alignment in this way will continue awakening and expanding the subtle body as it informs your regular practice.
In the physical body we have two kinds of energy; one is known as prana and the other is consciousness. Tantric philosophy refers to Shiva (consciousness) and Shakti (creative energy). In yoga, the concept of prana is scientific – it does not mean the breath, air or oxygen – it means the original life force, and it exists to varying degrees in layers or sheaths around every thing in the universe – including every part of the physical body.
If we truly want to be happy and healthy then our subtle body needs to be in balance and harmony.
Understanding that our yoga practice extends way beyond the physical, in this workshop we look at the motivating force behind the physical body – The Subtle Body system.
