Yoga for Deep Healing Workshop

Take the time & space to allow your energetic body to be nourished. Explore a unique combination of Tibetan Buddhist Meditation, TCM Meridian influenced acupressure massage, Yin inspired asana along with Nada (sacred sound) healing and an extended Yoga Nidra – guided relaxation or ‘conscious sleep’.

Right at the centre of your Energetic body, the Heart is the meeting point of heaven & earth – pure consciousness & life. With understanding & practice we have the power to open and expand the heart – effectively bringing more life force, healing & vitality to every aspect of being….

During this workshop we will explore the ancient science of the chakra system through a wide and colourful variety of Yoga. The session is designed for Yogis interested in expanding their knowledge of traditional Yoga, as well as going deeper into their own practice of healing and transformation. Uma’s joyful and unique approach includes Embodied Flow, Hatha, Tantra, Kundalini, Nada (sacred sound & chanting), Mythology and Tibetan Buddhism.

All levels of experience are welcomed to join so long as you have a genuine interest in Yoga beyond the general physical aspects. Uma will happily guide you on your individual journey – whether you have been practicing for years, or just beginning.

About Uma Spender

Uma Spender (Jessie Neave) is a devoted mother & multi passionate creative type who has found her calling running transformational Retreats & Workshops. She does not subscribe to a Yoga ‘style’ but is deeply influenced by Embodied Flow, Anusara, Sivananda, Tantra, Vinyasa, Yin, Nada (sacred sound) and Tibetan Buddhist Meditation…to name a few! Uma specialises in Nada Yoga (sacred sound)- including the mythology and meaning behind mantra, and is known for her down to earth approach to Spirituality – effortlessly weaving the deeper themes into every session.
